National ArchivesSculpture in Sculpture Garden

We went to the National Archives to see the Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, and the Constitution. The documents where in a dark room to protect the ink so it wouldn't fade. You also couldn't take pics with flash because that would also harm the ink. The guard sent 3 rows of people up in the room, because there only could be 100 people in the room. We also went to the Sculpture Garden in Washington DC and there was awesome sculptures. It was amazing how they built those beautiful sculptures. We had a very fun day on July 14, 2009.
This is one of the coolest sculptures at the Sculpture Garden. It's very cool now becuase people no longer use typewriters so a giant typewriter eraser seems almost ancient these days.
